eReader packaging printed on the VariJET 106
Koenig & Bauer Durst will present cutting-edge innovations and solutions demonstrating its holistic market approach to packaging on Stand A31-1 in Hall 16 at drupa 2024 from May 28 to June 7.
At the heart will be the VariJET 106 – the press for folding carton markets jointly developed by Koenig & Bauer and Durst – that will be running in public for the first time. Daily demonstrations will be at 11.45am and 2.45pm, with the VariJET 106 also part of VIP and special sheetfed demonstrations.
Samples will be provided from food, non-food, pharma and beauty product markets using variable data (track and trace), special colours and different coatings. All have completed on our VariJET 106 in partnership with a beta customer.
Discover complete solutions where reliability and durability meet high performance and top quality, seamlessly integrating post-print solutions in collaboration with the Koenig & Bauer finishing technology show-cased at the neighboring booth in live production.
Latest technological developments for corrugated with digital white – making the ‘impossible possible’ – will also be presented. Printed on the Delta SPC 130 press with its non-impact process, new application possibilities will be showcased covering wine, home appliance and food applications.
We look forward to welcoming you to our stand, which is between the Durst and Koenig & Bauer booths. Contact Benjamin Bösch, Koenig & Bauer Durst Sales Director, +49 1732 714987, benjamin.boesch@koenig-bauer-durst.com, to make sure you get an appointment with us.

De-inkable water-based inks enable converters and brands to be prepared for forthcoming recycling targets.
Inkjet eliminates the need and costs of plates in the production process. Allowing for simpler and shorter set-up time with significantly reduced waste. Without needing to change the board, multiple versions can be run continuously without stops between jobs. This reduces costs and time wasted when dealing with digital artwork changes – all in a fully automated workflow.
Increased tightening of legislation and customer and brand-driven demands are increasing the need for higher food security and food safe packaging. Water based inks guarantee a 100% odourless and food safe solution.
